Frankly, after a few moths in Dublin, I think he could just as easily have been talking about the UK & Ireland.

The first piece of evidence for the prosecution? The new single by The Rubberbandits, and potential the Irish Xmas #1 (I kid you not), (I’ve A) Horse Outside.

My favourite line? It has to be the chorus:

Fuck your Mitsubishi, I’ve a horse outside.

Or maybe it’s:

He runs a bit like Shergar, and he jumps like Tír na nÓg
He looks like Billy Piper after half an ounce of coke

All of this, I should add, is sung by two guys wearing plastic bags on their heads.

Obviously.
