Art Vinyl – Turns Album Covers In To Art

I got a set of Art Vinyl frames as an early Christmas present this weekend – you couldn’t do this with a CD now could you?!

As I’m away for Christmas we had a faux Christmas dinner with the in-laws on Saturday. They bought us a set of three Art Vinyl frames, which allow you to turn album covers into pieces of art. It’s absolutely fantastic, as they’re incredibly easy to change so every time you get bored with the art on your wall, you just pull out a new LP.

I’ve already changed them a few times, but managed to settle on three which you can see here that have now been up since yesterday morning. Not that I’m obsessive or anything, but I’m already planning little themes I can organise – like three movie soundtracks, three albums by the same band or artist – that sort of thing.

And whilst I was standing back admiring my new artworks yesterday, I realised that my other two dining room walls are devoted to musical art as well. One wall has my print of the lyrics of Marvin Gaye’s What’s Goin’ On, whilst the final wall has a copy of Andy Warhol’s Triple Elvis. Anyone who didn’t know me might think that I was obsessed with music!
